Davidson alerted Council that at the next formal Council meeting, Resolution No. 36, Series 1993,
required that they annually set the goal for the number of residential building permits. He asked staff
to get each Councimember a copy of this resolution.

Sisk asked about a article in the paper stating that Broomfield had a desire to start another toll road
and the only non-willing participant was Louisville.

Davidson stated that in a meeting Louisville had with Broomfield, the reforming of an authority had
been discussed and Louisville expressed little interest. Louisville was interested in extending the
Northwest Parkway Agreement, including adding whatever language that could be negotiated with
Broomfield to overcome any fears they may have that Louisville might block the agreement in the
future. In Davidson's discussions with some of the County Commissioners, they supported that
position. Davidson had suggested to the City Administrator that he contact the City Administrator
of Broomfield to discuss these issues.

Mayer felt it would be useful for the City Councils of Louisville and Broomfield to get together to
discuss these issues.

Levihn moved that Council send a letter to the School Board in support of their location of the new
high school. Seconded by Howard. All in favor.

ADJOURNMENT

Davidson moved that Council adjourn (8:11 p.m.). Seconded by Sisk. All in favor.

Tom Davidson, Mayor

ATTEST:

7
