JANUARY 25, 1995 <br /> <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in special session (continued from the January 25, <br />1995, Special Council meeting) in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. <br />Mayor Tom Davidson called the meeting to order at 6:22 p.m. and the following persons were <br />present. <br /> <br />City Council: <br /> <br />Kevin Howard, Chuck Sisk, Tom Mayer, Arnold <br />Levihn, Jay Keany <br /> <br />StaffPresent: <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator <br />Steve Baysinger, Dir. Parks & Recreation <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney <br />Maj-Lis Kemper, City Clerk <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilman Rob Lathrop (excused) <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1179, SERIES 1995 - LOUISVILLE SPORTS COMPLEX - <br />ANNEXATION - 2ND READING (CONTINUED FROM 1/24/95) - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Griffiths ready by title only Ordinance No. 1179, Series 1995, "An ordinance approving the <br />annexation of unincorporated land owned by the City of Louisville, known as the Louisville Sports <br />Complex Annexation, to the City of Louisville, Colorado, and declaring it an emergency." <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public heating and called for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance No. 1179. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments or motions. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council adopt Ordinance No. 1179, Series 1995, on second and final reading with <br />the insertion of the amendment which contains the emergency statement. Seconded by Levihn. Roll <br />call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Lathrop being absent. <br /> <br /> <br />
