I. Call to Order II. Roll Call, Jennifer, Denice, Shary, Lawrence, Susan, Blake Suzanne, Liz, Darin is excu III. Approval of October 16, 2014 Agenda — Unanimous IV. Approval of September 17, 2014 Programming Meeting Minutes — All minutes will be approved at the next meeting. V. Public Comments: Items Not on the Agenda — No public comments VI. Treasurer's Report (September): Denice — Next month will have SCFD and the profits from the past three events. VII. Items for Discussion/Decision — 2015 Programming Committees — Meetings can be done as long as there is 72 hour notice. Each person was assigned to his /her 1st and 2nd choices and that ended up forming almost all the committees. Chairs need to come up with Names of the Committees and proposals for activities and programming. Committee should also discuss their individual missions. Meetings are suggested by the next LCC meeting and then report back as to the mission of each committee. Denice and Susan would like to be added to the Master Plan Committee. A formal mission was made to form the committees. Unanimous support to create the new committees. Mission Statement for the LCC — Committee can recommend changes to city council Shary and Susan will not be returning to the Committee. Denice is unsure. Darin would like to return. Suggestion was made to be more inclusive and bridge the gap between the various art and cultural groups. LAD: Rhythm & Hues — Fall 2015 Date Request — Dates available did not work for the group, Suzanne will follow up. Arts Master Plan / City Council Presentation — Want to include the public in the input to the master plan. Economic impact effects are important. There needs to be a presentation to the City Council on November 10th. Timeline will take at least 1 year. The Comprehensive Plan will be part of the overall Master Plan for the City. Should respond to public needs. Intention is to do a survey to the community through "survey monkey ".
