Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:35pm by Claudia Lenz. Meeting Minutes <br />taken by Justine Vigil- Tapia. <br />II. Roll Call: (Members present in bold): Jim Bradford, Mary Ann Heaney, David Hsu, Claudia <br />Lenz, Mark Persichetti; Justine Vigil- Tapia; City -Staff Liaison Dave Szabados; City - Council <br />Liaison Jay Keany. <br />III. Approval of Current - Meeting's Agenda: Approved without modification. <br />IV. Approval of November 19, Meeting Minutes: The minutes from the November 19, 2014 <br />meeting were approved. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />Mark Persichetti met with a member of the Lafayette Sustainability Advisory Board regarding green <br />business awards. Lafayette is using a gold, silver and bronze award; they get about 8 -11 applicants <br />per year. Would like to get more businesses to apply. Considering a cash award. Boulder County also <br />has a PACE award program. <br />Jim gave a presentation to the San Miguel County Community Energy Partners. Their model is to <br />collaborate with the surrounding communities. <br />VI. Jay's Minute: Council appointed a new LSAB member (Jaime Bartlett). Council meeting with <br />State Representatives on 12/18/14. <br />VIII. Team Reports on Sustainability Road Map Discussion <br />a. David Hsu sent out style guide. All team members to review and format roadmap <br />section accordingly. <br />b. Energy Efficiency — Jim and David have completed their board visits. Their roadmap <br />section contains energy goals they would like to propose as a straw man. <br />c. Localization — Claudia to visit the library board. Section is a mix of targets and <br />education /information sharing recommendations. <br />d. Resource Conservation — Mary Ann and Mark will be reviewing and updating their <br />section. Also doing a pulse check on feedback from groups visited (can do this via <br />email). <br />e. Mary Ann reported on visit to DBA (didn't express much interest but willing to send <br />message out to contacts regarding public meetings) and Open Space Board. Open <br />Space Board was very receptive and will be providing feedback.
