Cityot <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO SINCE 1878 <br />Youth Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 4, 2014 <br />Louisville Recreation Center <br />900 W. Via Appia <br />7:00 PM <br />I. Call to Order Chairperson Isabella McHugh called the meeting to order at <br />7:00. <br />II. Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Brigette Calder -Ward, Autumn Choka, Zane <br />Eddy, Brayden Ernst, Caelis Hanna, Kaylix McClure, Isabella McHugh, <br />Addison Nakari, Haley Ombreski, Madison Pius, Jesse Schrag, Finnegan <br />Smith, Mitchell Waters, Tyler Waters <br />Board Members Absent: none <br />Staff Members Present: Mandy Perera, Councilman Jay Keany <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br />All members approved the agenda. <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br />All members approved the meeting minutes from November. <br />V. Public Comments <br />Isabella- FBLA at Monarch High School is selling Utta bands for $7. <br />VI. Goal /Project for school year- Visit with Joe Stevens, Director of Parks & <br />Recreation <br />Board members had a chance to speak with Joe Stevens about the process of <br />how an aquatics facility in Louisville could become a reality, as well as an <br />expansion on the Recreation and Senior Center. He noted if you just appeal to <br />swimmers, it would likely be a smaller market of interest, and if you package it <br />with a Recreation Center expansion, it may appeal to a larger group. YAB should <br />focus on the benefits to the various groups and ages in the community. YAB can <br />present to other boards and city council to gain support.
