Discussion and Direction - Tastings Application Process
A question was recently raised by a retail liquor licensee concerning a tastings
permit application and when an application could be submitted. The ordinance
originally approved by City Council limited the licensee to submitting an
application at the time of license renewal. The Authority Attorney's office
prepared a draft ordinance for the Authority's consideration which would allow
licensees to submit applications throughout the year. Discussion centered on
easing the process for the licensees and whether there was any way for
administrative approval. The Authority asked the Authority Attorney's office to
proceed with the proposed changes and present'the ordinance to City Council.
Police Department Reports.
A.
