Renewal Application - 3 Margaritas XVI, Inc. d/b/a 3 Margaritas XVI - <br />Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License - 592 S. McCaslin Blvd. <br />Wilson called for any changes to the consent agenda. Lipton moved the consent <br />agenda be approved. Mulvah~ill seconded. Roll Call Vote: Rommelfanger -yes, <br />Carlson -yes, Wilson -yes, IVlulvahill -yes and Lipton -yes. Consent agenda <br />approved. <br />Authority Business <br />A. Public Hearing -New Motel and Restaurant Liquor License Application - <br />Tibet's Restaurant & Bar, LLC d/b/a Tibet's Restaurant & Bar - 321 <br />McCaslin Blvd. Suite A <br />Wilson opened the public hearing on the new license application. Secretary <br />Hanson stated the application was complete and included in the Authority packet. <br />Background checks revealed no criminal history and the hearing had been <br />posted and published in accordance with state law. She also noted there were <br />some items the licensee had updated on the application and brought them to the <br />attention of the Authority members. <br />No objections were entered to the boundaries of the neighborhood being the city <br />limits of the City of Louisville. Wilson moved the entire application as contained <br />in the Authority packets be made a part of the record of this hearing as well as <br />the additional items. Rommel~Fanger seconded. All in favor. <br />Ryan Call, attorney for the licensee, introduced himself, Mark Herman and Kami <br />Sherpa to the Authority. Herman and Sherpa were given the oath by Secretary <br />Hanson. <br />Mr. Call called the Authority's attention to the application and thought it spoke for <br />itself. He did ask them to focuis on the new diagram, the patio and the control <br />features. He pointed out the storage areas for the liquor. Call focused on the <br />uniqueness of the restaurant and its contribution to Louisville. <br />The Authority agreed the appliication was straight forward. Members did ask if <br />there was intent for staff to attend seller/server training. Call responded both <br />Herman and Sherpa had attended training and intended to send their staff within <br />six months of hire. <br />Wilson noted there were no audience members present to speak for or against <br />the application. Wilson closed) the public hearing. <br />Mulvahill moved the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville find the <br />applicants are of good moral character, the inhabitants of the neighborhood <br />desire the license be granted, the license will meet the reasonable requirements <br />of the neighborhood, all City and State law requirements have been met and, <br />based on these findings, the Local Licensing Authority approve issuance of a <br />hotel and restaurant liquor license for Tibet's Restaurant & Bar, LLC., doing <br />
