RESOLUTION N0. <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NEED FOR A HOUSING <br />AUTI~ORITY TO FLJNCTION IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO. <br />BE IT RESOLVED B5.' THE CITY COUCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO: <br />That a petition having been filed with the City Clerk of said <br />City by twenty-five (~'5) residents thereof, setting forth that <br />there is a need for a Housing Authority to function therein, and <br />a public hearing having been held, upon due notice given by said <br />City Clerk, all pursuant to "The Housing Authorities Law" of the <br />State of Colorado, as amended, the City Council of said City finds, <br />determines and declarE:s, that: <br />1. Unsanitary and unsafe inhabited dwelling accommodations <br />exist in the City of Louisville, Colorado; and <br />2. There is a lack. of safe and sanitary dwelling accomoda- <br />Lions in the City of Louisville, Colorado, available for all the <br />inhabitants thereof; and. <br />3. There is need for a Housing Authority to function in the <br />City of Louisville, Colorado; and <br />4. A petition sE~tting forth the need for a Housing Authority <br />to function in the Cii:y of Louisville, Colorado, has not been denied <br />by the City Council thereof within three months of the date of the <br />filing of the aforesa:i.d petition; and <br />5. The mayor of tree City of Louisville, Colorado, be promptly <br />notified of the adoptior,~ of this resolution; and <br />6. The Mayor be ar.~d he hereby is directed to file in the <br />office of the City Clerk: of the City of Louisville, Colorado, the <br />necessary certificate evidencing the appointment of the Commissioners <br />and designation of thE~ first Chairman of the Housing Authority, <br />pursuant to section 6!3-c.-5 of "The Housing Authorities Law" of the <br />State of Colorado; and <br />7. The aforesaid conditions in the City of Louisville, Colo- <br />rado, compel persons of low income to occupy unsanitary or unsafe <br />dwelling accommodations or overcrowded and congested dwelling acco- <br />modations; that the aforesaid conditions cause an increase in and <br />apread of disease and crime; that the clearance and reconstruction <br />
