CI1fY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br />RESOLUTION 6, Series 1973 <br />WHEREAS, Wood Bros. Homes„ Inc. has petitioned to the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado, seeking annexatiion and the City Council having considered said <br />Petition, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado, finds that the area seeking annexation is eligible to be annexed <br />because there is at least one-sixth contiguity between the municipality and <br />the area seeking annexation and at least two of the following conditions have <br />been met: <br />(a) More than 50 peer cent of the adult residents of the area proposed <br />to be annexed use some of the recreation, civic, social, religious, industrial <br />or commercial facilities of the municipality and more than 25 per cent of <br />its adult residents are employed in the annexing municipality; <br />(b) Less than one-hialf of the land proposed to be annexed is agricultural <br />or, if itti is agricultural, less than one-half of the landowners of the total <br />area have expressed an intention under oath to devote the land to such <br />agricultural use for at least five years; <br />(c) It is practical to extend urban services which the municipality <br />normally provides. <br />Having found that the land owned by Wood Bros. Homes, Inc. as described <br />in the Petition dated January 23, 1973 is eligib~~ to become annexed, the <br />City Council of the City e~f Louisville will undertake further annexation <br />proceedings. <br />PASSED at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of February, 1973. <br />,ty erk <br />
