Sisk stated that Council had spent many hours discussing this project concerning the way this project
would be developed, the financing aspects, the land acquisition, etc., putting Council through the
same paces as they would any other applicant. He thanked Council and staff for their hard work on
the project.

Levihn pointed out that when Council set their goals a year ago, youth in Louisville was one of the
goals. He felt this four-plex contributed greatly to that.

Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 26, Series 1995. Seconded by Lathrop. All in
favor with Howard being absent.

RESOLUTION NO. 28, SERIES 1995 - ISSUING AN ORDER EXTENDING THE TIME
FOR REVIEW OF CABLE RATES

Bill Blankenship, Human Resources Officer, stated that City had received a filing from Scripps
Howard Cable Company. The intent of the filing was to increase service rates at the same time that
they increased rates for equipment and installation, which was the subject of a previous filing. Staff
needed additional time to review the proposed rate increase and hold a public hearing to receive
additional comments from interested persons. Staff recommended that the 30 day period in which
the City must review this request, be extended for up to 90 days. He asked that a public hearing be
scheduled for Tuesday, June 20, 1995, to run concurrent with the hearing scheduled previously for
the proposed equipment and installation rate increases.

Davidson called for Council comment, questions, or motions.

Levihn moved that Council approve Resolution No. 28, Series 1995. Seconded by Keany. Ail in
favor with Howard being absent.

ORDINANCE NO. 1190, SERIES 1995 - REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION
17.16.180 AND CHAPTER 17.60 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE
CONCERNING TEMPORARY USES - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 6/6/95

Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1190, Series 1995, "An ordinance repealing and reenacting
Section 17.16.180 and Chapter 17.60 of the Louisville Municipal Code concerning temporary uses."

Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the Temporary Use ordinance comes back to Council as
Ordinance No. 1190. At Council's direction, the following changes had been incorporated into this
ordinance:

lc)
le)
2d)

The time limit had been changed for seasonal sales from 30 to 45 days.
Ingress/egress would be approved by the Public Works Department.
There shall be no use of public rights-of-way for parking.
