Sec. 44. No vehicle shall be driven over any unpro- tected hose of a Fire De~~a.rtment when laid down on any street, private driveway or any other roadway without the consent of the Fire Department Official in command. Sec. 45. Right-of-Way Rules-- (.A.) The driver of a vehicle approaching an intersection. shall yield the right-of-way to a vehicle which has entered the intersection from a di~'ferent highway. (B) Y~1zen tvuo vehicles entering an intersection from different highways at th.e same time, the driver of the ve- hicle on the left shall yield the right-of-way to the ve- hicle on the right. (C) The foregoing rules are modified at through highways and otherwise as stated in this ord.i_nance. (D) The driver of a zTehicle within an inter. sect ion in- tending to turn -co t'he left shall vier. the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching from the of posite directi on which is within the intersection or so close thereto as to con- stitute a,n immediate hazard, but said driver, having given a signal when and as reauire~7 by law, may make suc'n left turn, and the drivers of all other vehicles approncn.ing the intersection from said obi osite direction shall yield t'ae _r3_ght-of-way to the vehicle m^king the left turn. (F) The driver of a vehicle shall stop as required by this ordin~.nce at the entr~.~~~ce to a through hi€;hway and shall yield the right-of-way to ot'~er vehicles which have entered the intense:ct ion from said through highway, or w'c~ic'n are approaching; s o close on said hi~'h~,vay as t o tens titute an immediate hazard, lout said driver, having so yielded, may proceed, and the drivers of all other vehicles approaching tYze intersection on said through highway shall yield the right-of-way to the -vehicle so proceeding onto or across the through highway.
