<br />Section 1. The ~~~ractice of goi n~ in and upon 1~~rivate residences
<br />:in the To~Mn of Louisville, Colorado, by solicitors, peddlers,
<br />hav~rkers, itinerant merchants and transient vendors of merchandise,
<br />not haves ~; been ree~uested or invited so to do by the o~mer or
<br />o~~:~ners, occupant or occupants of-said private residences, for
<br />the purpose of soliciti nC orders for the sale of goods, :Maros,
<br />anal merchandise, and~or for the purpose of disposing,, of and/or
<br />pedcLl.ing or havrking the sane, is hereby d eclared to be a
<br />nuisance, and punishable as such nuis2~rce as a misdemeanor.
<br />Section 2. The 1^ovMn T,Tarshal and Police Force of the Tovm of
<br />Louisville, Colorado are hereby redu_i_red and directed to
<br />suppress the sat:ie, and to abate anal such rnuisance as is
<br />described ir. the first section of this ordinance.
<br />Sec-ti.on 3. Any person convicted of perpetrating a nuisance as
<br />described and LL,rohibited in the first section of this ordinance,
<br />upon conviction t~.~ercof shall be fined in a su_n not less than
<br />Tvrenty-five (>2~.OOj P,ollars or ?~zorU than One Tanc3s°od (:;lOC.00)
<br />Dollars, to ;ether ti'r-i tl1 costs of proceedin;s, ~~rhich said fine may
<br />'oe satisfied, if not paid ire cash, by execution against the

<br />prohi'aited.
<br />Section ~.. X11 ordinances and parts of ordinances ir. conflict
<br />~;rith this ordinance are hereby repealed.
<br />Section 5. in the opiri_on of the 'hoard of Trustees i t is hereby
<br />declared that an emergency exists, that this ordinance is
<br />necessar4r for the i_^a~~!ediate preservation of public peace, health
<br />and safet~r and, therefore, it ,sizall take effect five (~) days
<br />after publication.
