That the Town of Louisville, .Colorado is the owner of the following <br />described property, to-wit: <br />"Lots 1, 2, 3, 1~., 5 and 6, in Block 10; Lots 1, 2, , <br />and 12, in Block 11; Lots 1, 2, 3, ~ ~ 3 ~ 5, 6, 9, 10, 11 <br />12; Lots 1 2 ~ 5 6 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, in Block <br />. 3, 5, 7, 8, g, 10, 11 and 12, in Block 13; and Lots 1, 2, <br />3, ~, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, in Block ]~., and all of Block 18, all <br />in Caledonia Place Addition to the Town. of Louisville, Colorado,}' <br />and that on the lst'day of April, lg~,, by Ordinance duly passed and submitted to <br />the qualified electors of the Totnn of Louisville said property v~ras established as <br />a park and pleasure grounds. <br />Section 2. Said above described property has never been used for park or pleasure <br />ground purposes and is not needed for such purposes and the Board of Trustees is <br />of the opinion that se.id property can be put to more appropriP.te and advantageous <br />uc~, and thereby promote the general welfare a.nd prosperity of the Town of Louis- <br />ville. <br />Section 3. That the Board of Trustees of the Town of Louisville shall have the <br />power to sell, lease or otherwise dispose of said above described property upon <br />such terms and conditions as such Board of Trustees ray hereinafter determine is <br />for the best use and benefit of the Town of Louisville. <br />Section 1~. That the above Ordinance be submitted to the qualified electors cf <br />the Town of Louisville at a special election to be held on July 10, 1956. <br />Section 5. That the foregoing Ordinance shall be voted upon by the qualified <br />electors of the Town of Louisville by answering one of the following questions: <br />"FOR AN ORDIT~:ANCE repealing Ordinance No. 11.0 of the Town of Louisville in- <br />sofar as said Ordinance 1L1.0 establishes certain property in Caledonia Place <br />Addition to the Town of Louisville as park and pleasure grounds," and, <br />"AGAIiiST AIT ORDIT•TI~TdCE repealing Ordinance ItiTo. 1~.~.0 of the Town of Louisville <br />..insofar as said Ordinance 1~.a.0 establishes certain property in Caledonia <br />Place Addition to the Town of Louisville as park and pleasure grounds." <br />Section 6. All other Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict with this <br />Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />~~ <br />~, <br />Section 7. In the opinion of the Board of Trustees :i.t is hereby declared that <br />an emergency exists, that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preserva- <br />tion of the public peace, health and safety, and therefore it shall take effect <br />five days after passage by the oualified electors. <br />Introduced, read, adopted and ordered <br />ATTEST <br />Town Clerk. <br />published this 17th day of Tv~.y, 1956. <br />Mayor. <br />1 <br />
