Brand: A scientific sample survey is the only way that <br /> there will be a good response. <br />Sackett: If a person pays non-resident fees if the receipts <br /> could be saved and redeem them for a five dollar <br /> card? <br />Baysinqer: That is in process at this time. <br />Carnival: The intent of the five dollar card was not to <br /> generate revenue, our intent for the card was to <br /> prove residence. A lot of these concerns are <br /> major but yet they are important to individuals <br /> and we need to address them. Maybe we need to sit <br /> back down at a work session and reanalyze these <br /> issues. As Council we need to come up with <br /> policies to give to the golf course people. <br />Brand: On the agenda tonight there was an action <br /> requested, what we can do is table these things <br /> until July 26th at the work session that is <br /> scheduled. <br />Davidson:. All of complaints that have been presented to the <br /> Council are valid complaints, but they need to be <br /> given a chance to work themselves out. Before we <br /> start changing the rules we need to give the staff <br /> a chance to go through and correct them, then see <br /> if we still have these kind of complaints. <br />Mayor Fauson: Concurred with Davidson. <br />Sackett: Something needs to be done about how the pictures <br /> are being taken and how long it is taking. <br />Howard: Suggested setting a date when to re-look at these <br /> complaints and make sure they have been taken care <br /> of by staff. <br />Carnival: One concern that needs to be looked at is proof of <br /> residence. <br />Brand: Baysinger, Ott and herself have talked about other <br />ways to deal with the proof of residence. <br />Tom McAvinew, 229 Lois Drive. <br />McAvinew: Felt that using a drivers license would work just <br />as well as anything else. All other courses in <br />the Metro Denver area use drivers license to prove <br />residence. He felt that the dress code was not <br />needed on this course.
