third group is chosen we would want to stipulate
h
w
o would be the lead person for us. So to me the
decision comes d
t
own
o whether or not we qo with
Mr. Buchanan or Vranesh and Raisch
d I
an
would
tend to lean toward the last group.
Davidson: He too felt it was a hard decision to make. They
are all very capable firms. I agree with all of
the other issues that Sackett brought up, I would
say that if Vranesh and Raisch is the selected
firm, I think we should make it contingent upon
th
e partner with the law experience being the lead
attorney.
Williams: That could be made part of the agreement.
Sackett: A target dollar amount should be considered. This
way we do not come back at the end of the year and
say that you cost us too much money. If they have
to go over the target amount then we should hear
about it first and know why.
Hornbostel: Felt if should be done after six months, have a
target not over so much after six months.
Brand: During the interviews two of the firms indicated
that they would like to sit down with us before we
actually entered into a contract and have everyone
understand what is expected on both sides.
Howard: Suggested that a one month, six month and a yearly
review be done.
Vote was taken on the nominations.
Hornbostel: Vranesh & Raisch
Howard: Vranesh & Raisch
Davidson: Vranesh & Raisch
Szymanski: Buchanan
Sackett: Vranesh & Raisch
Carnival: Abstained
Mayor Fauson: Buchanan
Vranesh & Raisch were nominated as the new City
Water Attorneys.
Sackett moved to have Michael Shimmins be the
primary contact to oversee the city`s water af-
fairs, seconded by Howard. All in favor, with
Carnival abstaining.
ORDINANCE X1027, SERIES 1990 - AMENDMENT OF CITY OF LOUISVILLE,
COLORADO, INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
5
