INSERT CITY/TOWN LOGO HERE
FasTRACKS Artwork Selection Panel Application

Public artwork is soon to become an integral part of the RTD/FasTRACKS project
along the Highway 36 corridor and public participation in that process is an
important element of that success. Louisville/Superior residents are encouraged to
serve as a citizen representative on this public artwork selection panel.

Overview of Project: The public art process will be overseen by RTD’s ART-N-TRANSIT
public art administrators. The FasTRACKS Artwork Selection Panel will be comprised of
volunteers from each of the six cities affected by this project. The panel will guide the
process for public artwork selection for each City station along Highway 36; review artists’
applications/portfolios; and, help determine final artwork commissions.

Requirements: While no particular knowledge of public art is required to participate on a
Selection Panel, panelists must have a strong desire to participate actively throughout the
entire selection process. Panelists will be expected to be receptive to diverse means of
creative expression; be an impartial juror; be able to work well within a team setting and
possess a strong desire to work with fellow citizens for the betterment of their
communities through public art.

Time Commitment: While it is anticipated that panelists should be able to commit
approximately 30 hours to the process which will be spread out over several months.
(Most likely late spring/early summer into early 2016; however, the exact dates are
unknown at this time). Participants should have access of a computer and be available for
meetings as determined by the Artwork Selection Panel.

To apply for consideration, please complete this application and return by to
Louisville City Hall/Superior Town Hall by March 1, 2015 (??).

Name:_________________________________________________________
Home Address:_______________________________________________ zip:___________________
Phone:____________________________________________ e-mail:______________________ ________
Occupation:_______________________________________ Employer:___________________________
