C. ORDINANCE #1028, SERIES 1990 - AMENDMENT OF WASTEWATER OPERA-
TION BY USE OF THE SYSTEM - 1ST READING - SET FOR PUBLIC HEARING.
Read by title only, Ordinance #1028, Series 1990,
"An Amendment to the Ordinance relating to the
operation of the wastewater system of the City of
Louisville by regulating use of the wastewater
system and regulating the types of waste that may
be disposed of therein."
Brand: This too is being reconsidered because of a
publication problem.
Howard moved to reconsider Ordinance #1028, Series 1990 for first
reading, seconded by Sackett. By Roll Call Vote Motion Passed 7-
0.
Mayor Fauson moved to set a public hearing for Ordinance #1028,
Series 1990 for September 4, 1990, seconded by Sackett. By Roll
Call Vote Motion Passed 7-0.
D. RESOLUTION #27, SERIES 1990 - MOUNTAIN MESA (CARSON PROPERTY)
ANNEXATION
Read by title only, Resolution #27, Series 1990,
"A Resolution of the City Council of the City of
Louisville finding substantial compliance of an
annexation petition filed by Mountain Mesa
Development Corporation for Donald Larson and
initiating annexation proceedings for certain
property and establishing a time for a public
hearing to determine if the proposed annexation
complies with statutory requirements."
Franklin: There are several items on the agenda tonight with
regard to this action. In the annexation process
there is a referral request that goes to Planning
Commission for action. Second step is
consideration of a resolution and setting a
hearing date followed by Ordinances relative to
the annexation and the zoning. This is the case
before you tonight. The applicant is Mountain
Mesa Development, represented by Gary Bergen. The
property is located south of Cherry Street and
east of Taft Court (extended). The request is for
annexation with Agricultural zoning. The agricul-
ture district is the most restrictive zoning which
will allow 'the proposed use as a use by Special
Review.
Concerns by Council: Making sure agriculture was the right
zoning for the property. Did not like
the fact that the plan was incomplete.
3
