Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />February 9, 2015 <br />Page 2of4 <br />DELO Update — Justin with RMCS. Phases 1 and 1 a — they have a letter of intent with <br />Comcast. They have asked Comcast to grant City of Louisville an easement . Boulder <br />Creek started the first townhome foundation. <br />February 12 Planning Commission. Key will be Comcast and Regional Detention. <br />Justin discussed the design for the woonerf. He showed the Commission a material <br />packet. <br />The second reimbursement request for TIF funds is going smoothly. <br />Regional detention — the design still needs approval from Lafayette and Boulder <br />County. <br />Getting a response from the BNSF should be coming soon. Two local reps and a Texas <br />representative working on it. Stepping up to Senators Bennett and Gardner offices. <br />Reports of the Commission: <br />none <br />Business Matters of the Commission — <br />a. Recap of Study Session with City Council: <br />Chair Becker said it was a good meeting. He would like to start a discussion <br />about projects to work on moving forward. <br />Commissioner Menaker believes we have good support from council. Believes in <br />Urban Renewal and TIF. <br />Commissioner Tofte has opened conversations with his neighbors regarding <br />construction on Hwy 42. <br />There was discussion about the underpass and how it will integrate DELO. <br />There was consideration of an open house when the underpass opens to create <br />an event to help people understand the transformation. <br />Commissioners are concerned about interconnectivity with South Boulder Road. <br />Hometown Weekly may be an avenue to let people know what is going on. <br />Mayor Muckle believes the meeting with Council was productive, communication <br />was good. <br />3 <br />
