He did not feel the PUD should be amended just because somebody failed in the <br />responsibility of getting a proper survey. <br /> <br />Anne-Marie Pattie, 748 Orchard Court, Louisville, Colorado, wanted Council to vote in favor of a <br />12' setback. She felt the sooner their neighborhood is completed, the safer it becomes. <br /> <br />John P. Schneider, 748 Orchard Court, Louisville, Colorado, wanted the resolution to be approved. <br />He felt Council had this opportunity to fix this administrative blunder. He wanted Council to give <br />Ray Griffin the option of leaving his garage the way it is. <br /> <br />Brian Dillman, 445 Orchard Drive, Louisville, Colorado, stated that the developer of this subdivision <br />had continually ignored every problem, issue, and responsibility related to this subdivision. He was <br />in favor of authorizing the changes. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions. <br /> <br />Howard asked if a 16' compromise would accomplish the objectives of the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Wood stated that it would still provide variety in architectural design in the buildout of the <br />subdivision. He stated that the subdivision is only 10% completed, due to lack of marketability, due <br />to lack of performance of the subdivision obligations by the subdivider. <br /> <br />Howard asked if there was just one house that had a garage out of compliance. <br /> <br />Peter Kernkamp, City Planner, stated that in terms of complying with the Building Code, everything <br />complies. At 555 Orchard the current front-loaded garage is encroaching approximately 3.5' into the <br />requked 20' setback. He explained that the proposal is to add on to that, the existing garage, within <br />the 12' setback that is being proposed by this PUD amendment to convert it from a front-entry garage <br />to a side entry garage. <br /> <br />Mayer asked if Ray Griffin had an architect that represented that his home at 555 Orchard met City <br />Code. <br /> <br />Ray Griffiin affirmed that. <br /> <br /> <br />
