RESOLUTION NO. 08 <br />SERIES 2015 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL APPROVE AN AMENDMENT <br />TO THE GATEWAY FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) TO MODIFY <br />THE HEIGHT ALLOWANCE LANGUAGE ON LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1 FROM "1 <br />STORY WITH A 26 FEET MAXIMUM BUILDING HEIGHT" TO "1 OR 2 STORIES <br />WITH A MAXIMUM BUILDING HEIGHT OF 26 FEET. <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Planning Commission an <br />application requesting an amendment to the Gateway PUD to allow two -story residential <br />units on Lots 1 and 2 on Block 1 of the Gateway Subdivision without changing the <br />existing 26 -foot height limitation; <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the PUD amendment application and <br />found it to comply with Louisville zoning regulations and would not alter the intended <br />goal of the previous restriction in maximizing the City's view of the Flatirons from <br />McCaslin Boulevard, or the views of the Flatirons from adjacent properties; and <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on March 12, 2015, where <br />evidence and testimony were entered into the record, including the findings in the <br />Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report dated March 12, 2015, the Planning <br />Commission recommends approval of the PUD Amendment to the City Council with no <br />conditions: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval Resolution 08, Series 2015, a <br />resolution recommending city council approve an amendment to the Gateway final <br />Planned Unit Development (PUD) to modify the height allowance language on Lots 1 <br />and 2, Block 1 from "1 story with a 26 feet maximum building height" to "1 or 2 stories <br />with a maximum building height of 26 feet with no conditions. <br />Attest: <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of March, 2015. <br />By: <br />Ann O'Connell, Secretary <br />Planning Commission <br />Chris Pritchard, Chairman <br />Planning Commission <br />
