APPROVAL OF DESIGNATED PLACES FOR POSTING PUBLIC MEETING NOTICES The Committee approved the designated places as recommended. The listing of designated public places can be located in the packet of the February 16, 2015 Finance Committee Meeting. NON - PROFIT FUNDING REQUEST FOR 2015 — IMAGINE! FOUNDATION Finance Director Watson informed the Finance Committee that Imagine! Foundation had submitted a grant request for 2015, but that the application had been lost or discarded in error prior to the compilation of all grant requests for 2015. The Finance Director stated that Imagine! Foundation has requested the Finance Committee reconsider its funding request for 2015. The Committee stated that it would provide a $500 grant to Imagine! Foundation for 2015, the same amount as was awarded in 2014. The grant application and corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the February 16, 2015 Finance Committee Meeting. SALES TAX REPORTS FOR THE MONTH ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2014 The Tax Manager presented the monthly, quarterly and year -end sales tax reports for the period ended December 31, 2014. The Tax Manager also requested authorization to write -off - $42.95 in uncollectable tax, penalty and interest amounts. The Finance Committee approved the request. The reports and the corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the February 16, 2015 Finance Committee Meeting. DISCUSSION ON PRELIMINARY DRAFT OF FINANCIAL POLICIES The Finance Director provided the Finance Committee members a preliminary draft for six of the City's Financial Policies to review and obtain feedback. Finance Director Watson stated that the original policies were adopted in 1984 and were last amended in 1997.
