Discussion Item: Discussion: Development Review- Boulder County
Housing Authority Presented by: Allan Gill, Parks & Recreation Projects Manager
(New materials will be distributed at the meeting)
Allan wanted to review the project so that the board could comment on the trail
alignment proposed by the developers. One concern staff identified was the width of the
trail: on the west side it is only 5 feet wide. Other staff issues include: meandering the
trail (rather than having it be a straight line path), trail easement without landscape
requirements, and the alignment of the street crossing at the Bullhead Gulch Trail. The
board expressed concern about the narrow width and the several street crossings of this
critical trail connection. Laura commented that she would like to see this section of trail
7
