Ken Gambon reminded everyone that residential programs will <br />be key.as homeowners reminded him that their tax dollars are going into the <br />rebuilding efforts and they should have preferential pricing like many other <br />courses in the area, e.g. Arvada, Aurora, Longmont, etc.. <br />b) Update on course punch list and proposed opening date: <br />• Joe Stevens reported that the proposed "Grand Opening" Party will be <br />tentatively held on Saturday, June 27th. The City Council has already been <br />told to save this date. The City Manager's Office is planning to invite the <br />Governor of Colorado. <br />• Joe Stevens would like to solicit help from the Board to help plan the event if <br />possible. Lisa Norgard suggested the event be restricted to cart path access <br />only and David Dean agreed to keep everyone on the paths for the initial <br />opening. <br />• David Dean reported that the irrigation and watering was underway this past <br />week as was the mowing of the greens this past weekend. He reported that <br />Hole 3 looks better with lots of growth. <br />• Joe Stevens added that the Landscapes Unlimited contract runs through June <br />23rd and that they will be mobilizing and working towards that day. <br />• David Dean reported that with regards to tees, Hole 10 does not have much <br />going on but reminded everyone that all holes will be re- seeded again. The <br />covers have been doing their job to keep the moisture in, and contain growth. <br />Due to good weather, the covers are rolled up and not in use at the moment, <br />but with poor weather coming in later this week, the covers will be rolled out <br />again. <br />• Lisa Norgard asked about Hole 14 and Joe Stevens said it will be sodded; <br />Landscapes Unlimited still has some contingency money left and is holding <br />on to it until we see what is needed to completed the sodding, seeding, etc. . <br />• Ken Gambon asked about drainage since he would like to update the <br />homeowners on the golf course; David Dean reported that drainage was <br />completed on #3 and close to completion on Hole 15 <br />• Ken Gambon said he has an Homeowners Association Annual Meeting on <br />April 7th; David Baril asked if he could come and introduce himself and use <br />the event as an opportunity to communicate and market the course; Ken <br />agreed and also extended an invitation to David Dean and Joe Stevens.
