All in favor <br />except Lathrop, with Sisk being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 44, SERIES 1995 - RESOLUTION APPROVING AN <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE BOULDER COUNTY CLERK AND <br />RECORDER FOR THE CONDUCT AND ADMINISTRATION OF A COORDINATED <br />ELECTION TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 7, 1995 <br /> <br />Maj-Lis Kemper, City Clerk, stated that this agreement would make it more cost effective for all of <br />the cities entered into this agreement to conduct the upcoming election. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments or motions. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 44, Series 1995, an IGA for a coordinated <br />election on November 7, 1995. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Sisk being <br />absent. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1201, SERIES 1995 - REPEALING SECTION 15.04.100 AND <br />AMENDING SECTION 15.04.030 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />CONCERNING THE VALUATION OF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION IN CONNECTION <br />WITH THE DETERMINATION OF BUILDING PERMIT FEES - 1ST READING - SET <br />PUBLIC HEARING 9/5/95 <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1201, Series 1995, "An ordinance repealing Section <br />15.04.100 and amending Section 15.04.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code concerning the <br />valuation of building construction in connection with the determination of building permit fees." <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that staff'had reviewed some proposed changes to the Code <br />concerning updating the method of reporting building valuations for residential construction and the <br />figuring of permit fees for all construction. The changes will show a more accurate building valuation <br />using calculating permit fees and the residential use tax. By repealing Section 15.04.100, the <br />valuation figures used for residential construction will no longer be determined by the square footage <br />cost fixed by the ordinance in 1988. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions. <br /> <br />Howard wondered if on an equal sized house today the valuation would be roughly same. <br /> <br />Simmons stated that right now at $48.00/s.f., the valuation would probably go to $70.00/s.f. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
