REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />2ESOLUTION #6, SERIES 1989 - RECOGNITION OF SERVICE - <br />FRED McNULTY Fred McNulty retired this week after serving the <br />City of Louisville for over 30 years and was <br />presented with a Resolution of Recognition and a <br />watch. <br />ORDINANCE #979, SERIES 1989 - PARAGON HEIGHTS ANNEXATION - 2ND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING Read by title only, Ordinance #979, Series 1989, <br />"An Ordinance annexing to the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado, a parcel of property located southwest <br />of Louisville Reservoir which is owned by the City <br />of Louisville." Proof of publication and notice <br />of public hearing were established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Franklin explained that the City acquired, from <br />Boulder County, lots 6, 7 and 8 Paragon Heights a <br />lots 9A, 15A, 16A and 17A Paragon Heights Replat. <br />This city-owned property is proposed to be <br />annexed, and Zoned A (Agricultural) consistent <br />with adjoining city-owned property. State <br />statutes allow of the annexation of municipally <br />owned land by such municipality without formal <br />notice and hearing. The proposed A Zoning is <br />subject to standard City procedures. <br />Mayor Fauson asked for any public comments in <br />favor of or in opposition to this Ordinance. <br />None. <br />Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called <br />for a motion. <br />Anderson moved and Ferrera seconded to adopt <br />Ordinance #979, Series 1989. By Roll Call Vote <br />Ordinance #979, Series 1989 was adopted 7-0. <br />ORDINANCE #980, SERIES 1989 - PARAGON HEIGHTS ZONING - 2ND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING Read by title only, Ordinance #980, Series 1989, <br />"An Ordinance amending Title 17 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code entitled "Zoning" by zoning <br />property owned by the City of Louisville." Proof <br />of publication and notice of public hearing were <br />established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Franklin stated that Ordinance #979 initiated the <br />process of annexing the parcel of land near <br />Louisville Reservoir owned by the City of <br />Louisville, and this Ordinance #980 proposes to <br />2 <br />
