Planned Community Zone District zoning. Proposed
uses of the property include industrial,
commercial, agricultural and open space uses
subject to approval of a General Development Plan.
It is recommended that the annexation and zoning
request be referred to the Planning Commission for
review and recommendation.
Stahl informed Council that study sessions would
be scheduled with regard to this particular issue
as well as the possible necessity of special
meetings and joint meetings with the Planning
Commission.
Sackett stated that this is a "big step" for
Louisville and appreciates Stahl's efforts to
present Council with every opportunity to study
this issue in detail before making a decision as
to the proposed benefits for the City.
Mohr moved and Ferrero seconded to refer the
annexation petition to the Planning Commission for
their full review and recommendations. By Roll
Call Vote, the motion passed 7-0.
PUBLIC COMMENTS None.
COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE
REPORTS Anderson stated that the next Consortium meeting
in May will be held in Louisville to follow-up on
pollution in Boulder County.
Mayor Fauson stated that Margaret 5uh would no
longer be covering Louisville for the Boulder
Daily Camera. The Mayor wished her well on her
new assignment.
Sackett asked if there was an ability on the part
of Council to include questions regarding W-470 in
the City's upcoming Special Municipal Election.
Williamson stated that it was not possible as
there are statutory deadlines for certifying the
resolution and publishing the notice of the
election in which the ballot issues are presented.
The election would have to be rescheduled in order
to adapt a resolution establishing additional
ballot questions.
Mayor Fauson reminded everyone that the next
meeting has been rescheduled to meet on March 20th
as the City's Special Municipal Election regarding
sales/use tax will be held on March 21st.
ADJOURNMENT With no further business, Mayor Fauson moved
without objection to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 p.m
6
