SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR SOUTH BOULDER ROAD - <br />PUBLIC HEARING Stahl stated that staff is requesting that Council <br />table this item as the City is in the process of <br />taking bids and trying to come to closure on <br />several issues that may impact adjacent property <br />owners on South Boulder Road. Good Faith <br />negotiations have just begun with several of the <br />property owners and have not yet obtained the <br />right-of-ways necessary. <br />Mayor Fauson stated that this is a public hearing <br />and opened it for comments. <br />The City Clerk certified publication of notice of <br />public hearing for the formation of a Special <br />Improvement District for South Boulder Road. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and <br />those present to speak agreed to hold their <br />comments until the rescheduled public hearing <br />held June 6, 1989. <br />Mohr moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to continue <br />the public hearing on the South Boulder Road <br />Special Improvement District until June 6, 1989. <br />Motion passed 6-0 by Roll Call Vote. <br />ORDINANCE #993, SERIES 1989 - WATER RIGHTS PURCHASE - CANNON WATER <br />USERS ASSOCIATION - 2ND READING, <br />?UBLIC HEARING Read by title only, Ordinance #993, Series 1989, <br />"An Ordinance approving a contract for the <br />purchase of water rights to be used in the <br />Municipal Water System and authorizing the <br />issuance of a Special Obligation Water Revenue <br />Note in payment therefor. Certification of public <br />notice and publication of ordinance were <br />established by the City Clerk. <br />Williamson stated that this concludes negotiations <br />with the shareholders of Cannon Water Users <br />Association for the purchase of their corporation <br />and its sole asset is 1.5 shares of McGinn Ditch <br />Company and 27 2/3 shares of the Agitator Ditch <br />Company for a purchase price of $104,250. Upon <br />acquisition, the City will dissolve the <br />corporation. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and asked <br />for any comments either in favor of or in <br />opposition to Ordinance #993, Series 1989. None. <br />Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called <br />for a motion. <br />5 <br />
