Ca11 to order — Chair Mike Frontczak called the meeting to order at 7:08 pm. <br />II. Roll call -Board members present: Shelly Alm, Mike Frontczak, Neal Griggsmiller, <br />Mark Newland, Ellen Toon, Beverlee White. Board member absent: English Hopkins. <br />Staff member present: Dean Johnson . Council member present: Susan Loo. Guests: <br />Michael Towers, Louisville City Arborist and Angie Layton. <br />III. The Agenda was approved by all members. <br />IV. The Minutes from the February 5, 2015 meeting were approved. <br />V. Comments/Items not on the Agenda: Dean Johnson reminded the Board of the Ethics <br />class on 5/4. Dean conveyed the Council request that Boards go paperless. Hence only <br />five meeting packets will be printed for future meetings. Members receive the packet <br />via email and may print necessary documents at home. Since the Arboretum bathroom <br />is in the 2015 budget, Dean mentioned that the architect for this project will be invited <br />to attend either the May or June HFAB meeting. City Council has hired Denise <br />White,Marketing for the Louisville Golf Course and Recreation Center. She will also <br />be available to assist in marketing HFAB/Arboretum events. Ellen Toon, announced <br />the Botanical Interests' project to attract and create nesting areas for Monarch <br />butterflies by planting of milkweed. Boulder County is at the edge of the Monarch <br />migration route .
