Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 27, 2015 <br />Page 4 of 6 <br />• Goal #2 — Encourage preservation of significant archaeological, <br />historical and architectural resources. <br />Discussion ensued regarding goal #2, specifically in terms of archaeological <br />resources. The objectives were word smithed. <br />• Goal #3 — Pursue increasingly effective, efficient, and user - friendly <br />voluntary based preservation practices. <br />Discussion ensued regarding goal #3. <br />• Goal #4 — Foster preservation partnerships. <br />Discussion ensued regarding goal #4. Questions were asked about how to <br />coordinate efforts with Boulder County and other nearby communities. It <br />was recommended to include "state, federal and global" in the coordination <br />efforts. <br />• Goal #5 — Continue leadership in preservation incentives and <br />enhance customer service <br />Discussion ensued regarding goal #5, especially regarding the preservation <br />funds. <br />Stewart made a motion to endorse the goals and objectives as modified. <br />Fahey seconded the motion. <br />The motion passed 6 — 0. <br />Discussion — 2015/2016 Goals /Council Study Session <br />Trice presented the study session item and discussion ensued regarding the <br />dates and times. Most specifically the agenda. <br />Stewart asked what was involved in the presentation. <br />Trice explained staff will lead the presentation but requested some board <br />members be at the meeting. <br />Discussion — Preservation Month Activities <br />Trice presented and stated she has spoken with the Mayor and the <br />dedication ceremony will be May 30th <br />Stewart asked what is the next step. <br />Trice stated she has contacted the owners to schedule times. <br />
