RON AND JOHN SACKETT DAY PROCLAMATION <br />June 29, 2015 <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />Louisville City Council wishes to recognize and honor the service <br />of Ron and John Sackett to Coal Creek Golf Course and to the <br />City of Louisville; and <br />Ron was a Council Member for Ward 3 from 2005 to 2013 <br />serving on the Finance, Business Retention and Development <br />and Legal committees. Ron is a keen golfer and a dedicated <br />supporter of Coal Creek Golf Course. Ron was one of the driving <br />forces behind creation of the Golf Course Advisory Board <br />chartered to advise City Council on all golf - related matters. Ron <br />was Council's representative to the Golf Course Board until 2013 <br />and continues to serve as Honorary Senior Advisor; and <br />John Sackett served as a member of City Council from 1986 — <br />1991 and worked to create the golf course which opened in 1990. <br />John also served as a board member for the Louisville Chamber <br />of Commerce from 1993 —1996. John recognized the <br />importance of a golf course in a thriving, growing City. <br />Ron and John Sackett played a vital role in making informed, <br />effective decisions that supported the growth of Coal Creek Golf <br />Course; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that I, Mayor Robert P. Muckle, hereby <br />proclaim June 29, 2015 as RON AND JOHN SACKETT DAY IN LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO TO express the City's sincere appreciation for their contribution, effort <br />and civic interest in the creation of Coal Creek Golf Course. <br />DATED this 21'd day June 2015 <br />ATTEST: <br />Robert P.
