Cityot <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />COMMUNICATION <br />SUBJECT: <br />PRESENTATION OF 2014 COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL <br />FINANCIAL REPORT (CAFR) AND COMMUNICATION IN <br />COMPLIANCE WITH AU -C 260 — EIDE BAILLY LLP <br />DATE: JUNE 29, 2015 <br />PRESENTED BY: KEVIN WATSON, FINANCE <br />SUMMARY: <br />Attached is a preliminary copy of the City's 2014 Comprehensive Annual Financial <br />Report (CAFR). A hard copy of the final report will distributed to City Council within the <br />next two weeks. <br />In compliance with Statements on Auditing Standards (SAS), as codified into AU -C <br />Sections, also attached is a draft letter from Eide Bailly LLP, the City's independent <br />auditor. This is standard communication and reviews management's responsibilities, <br />accounting estimates, disclosures, and any difficulties, misstatements, or <br />disagreements that occurred during the audit engagement. <br />Dave DeZutter, Audit Partner with Eide Bailly LLP, will be at the meeting to discuss both <br />the CAFR and the AU -C 260 letter. Mr. DeZutter will formally present the 2014 CAFR at <br />the City Council Meeting on August 4, 2015. The AU -C 260 letter will be an item on the <br />Consent Agenda at the same meeting. <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE COMMUNICATION <br />
