Posted in City Hall, Public Library, <br />Recreation Center and the Police and Courts Building and mailed to surrounding property <br />owners on October 19, 2007. <br /> <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br />McCartney provided the following summary: <br />. Applicants are Robert and Carol Lathrop. <br />. Property is located on the west side of Highway 42, between South Boulder Road and <br />Baseline Road. <br />. Lot 1 and 2, Block 1, Davidson Highline Subdivision. <br />. 5.44 acres in size. <br />. Requesting a replat of the existing two-lot Davidson Highline Subdivision, proposing <br />to subdivide the property into three-lots (Lots lA, 2A and 3A). <br />. Zoning will remain Planned Commercial/Residential (P-C/R). <br />. The main purpose of the request is to create a third lot on the east side of the property <br />to permit the extension of a proposed collector road coming south from Takoda <br />Village. <br />. In reviewing the Takoda Village Development Plan, the developer is planning for the <br />proposed road to extend south, through the subject property, to eventually connect to <br />Highway 42, in line with the existing Hecla Drive located to the east of Highway 42. <br /> <br />McCartney stated the staff report reflects one condition of approval but since the writing of the <br />staff report the Public Works Department has stated the condition is not necessary. Therefore <br />Staff recommends approval without conditions. <br /> <br />Commission Questions of Staff: <br />None heard. <br /> <br />Applicant Presentation and Questions of the Applicant: <br />Carol Lathrop stated she had no formal presentation. She thanked staff for the completeness of <br />the report. She then asked the Commissioners if they had any questions. <br /> <br />Deborski inquired if there were any plans for future uses for the subdivision. <br /> <br />Lathrop stated there are not. <br />
