Davidson called for public comments.

Peter Stewart, architect, 1132 Jefferson Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, stated that in the new Building
Code there is a deeper than traditional window well for residential basements and he did not feel it
was clear how it would apply to existing residents. A second issue was on an amendment to the
Building Code requiring all commercial buildings to have mechanical ventilation, thereby not allowing
buildings to have natural ventilation. He felt this would impact small businesses.

Wood felt this was an important amendment clarifying a large section in the Code. He stated that it
was required to provide very clear direction to a perspective commercial tenant to understand the
obligations needed in meeting Building Code requirements to open a business.

Keany felt that instead of voting on this, it should go to a Work Session for study.

Mayer was concerned about the ventilation requirement for commercial buildings.

Tom Talboom, Chief Building Inspector, stated that this is not new, it had already been in the Code.
Davidson agreed with Mayer.

Davidson moved that Council continue Ordinance No. 1204, Series 1995, to the December 19, 1995,
Council meeting. Seconded by Keany. All in favor with Levihn being absent.

ORDINANCE NO. 1205, SERIES 1995 - RENAMING CENTENNIAL COURT TO INFINITE
DRIVE - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING

Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1205, Series 1995, "An ordinance renaming the street
known as "Centennial Court", as designated on the plat of Centennial Valley Business Park, Third
and Fourth Filings, to "Infinite Drive".

Paul Wood, Planning Director, felt this was self explanatory.

Davidson opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak on this ordinance.

Don Shonkwiler, Homart Development Co., 400 South McCaslin, Louisville, Colorado, reminded
Council that Quantum had requested a name change when then had first came before Council.

Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments or motions.

Howard moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1205, Series 1995, street name change from
Centennial Court to Infinite Drive on second and final reading. Seconded by Keany. Roll call was
taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Levihn being absent.

5
