City Council
Special Meeting Minutes
January 14, 2008

Commissioner Menaker emphasized the importance of installing the
infrastructure.

City Manager Fleming noted the importance of adhering to the Comprehensive
Plan and Design Guidelines and suggested that a phasing plan for the
infrastructure and implementation would help determine what can realistically be
accomplished.

Commissioner Hernandez noted the matrixes must reflect the Comprehensive
Plan and the Framework Plan.

PUBLIC COMMENT

John Leary, 1116 LaFarge Avenue, Louisville, CO stated the market study
previously done was a very poor plan. He stated the North End and Dakota
Developments both have a commercial component and urged Council to proceed
with caution on retail development.

Rick Brew, RMCS, 726 Front Street, Unit B, Louisville, CO addressed quiet
zones and welcomed the opportunity to work with the City on the project.

Paul Wood, Planning Director, supported a market analysis which would give the
City more information to work with the developers and property owners. He
stated it is important that marketing goals are consistent with the City's vision.

ADJOURN

The meeting was adjourned at 7:59 p.m.

Charles Sisk, Mayor

ATTEST:

Nancy Varra, City Clerk
