<br />City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />12/17/07 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE MONTH ENDED NOVEMBER 30, 2007 <br /> <br />The November Financial Statements were presented to the Finance Committee. <br />The narrative prepared by the Accounting Manager can be located on the City's <br />website at www.ci.louisville.co.us. In addition to this presentation, the following <br />issues were brought forward and discussed: <br />. Police Facility Impact Fees in the Impact Fee Fund. <br />. The current status of Police grants. <br /> <br />SALES TAX REVENUE FOR THE QUARTER ENDED OCTOBER 31, 2007 <br /> <br />The October Sales Tax Report was presented to the Finance Committee. The <br />report prepared by the Sales Tax Administrator can be located on the City's <br />web site at www.cLlouisville.co.us. In addition to this presentation, the following <br />issues were brought forward and discussed: <br />. The Committee requested a listing (name only) of the top 50 sales tax <br />generators. <br /> <br />LIST OF BILLS <br /> <br />The List of Bills scheduled for approval at the Council Meeting scheduled for <br />December 18, 2007 was presented to.the Finance Committee. The Committee <br />discussed and/or requested additional information on the following: <br />. The Committee requested, if possible, that the new Facilities Manager <br />position be involved in the bids for cleaning services. <br /> <br />STANDARD & POOR'S RATING SUMMARY <br /> <br />The Committee was presented a rating review summary from Standard & Poor's <br />recent review of the City's 2004 General Obligation Library Bonds. Standard & <br />Poor's review committee affirmed the current rating of AA-. <br />. The Committee requested some additional information on bond ratings and <br />asked staff to research bond ratings for some of the surrounding <br />municipalities. <br /> <br />INVESTMENT POOL YIELD COMPARISONS <br /> <br />The Committee was presented an analysis prepared by Bob Krug of CSafe <br />comparing yields average monthly of the four major local government investment <br />pools. <br /> <br />NON-PROFIT FUNDING APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />The Committee review and discussed the funding requests from non-profit <br />organizations and recommended $18,450 be granted as follows: <br /> <br />3 <br />
