City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June 2, 2015 <br />Page 23 of 27 <br />a planned unit development plan approved according to chapter 17.28 and <br />subject to the Limitations stated in section 17.14.090. <br />Planning Commission reviewed this and had a detailed discussion on water tap fees <br />and metering, historic preservation incentives and the scale of development. <br />Discussion included fiscal concerns which staff checked with the County Assessor who <br />is not concerned about this land use as they tax proportionately according to the <br />commercial or residential use The Planning Commission voted unanimously (7 -0) to <br />recommend the amendment to Title 17 be forwarded to City Council for consideration. <br />Staff recommends City Council approve Ordinance No. 1691, Series 2015, an <br />ordinance amending title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code to define and allow live- <br />work uses in the Mixed Use Zone Districts and Downtown Louisville. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Mayor Muckle called for public comment and hearing none, called for Council comment. <br />COUNCIL COMMENT <br />Council member Stolzmann thought it was a good idea to keep the water tap fees <br />separate. <br />MOTION: Council member Stolzmann moved to approve Ordinance No. 1691, Series <br />2015. Seconded by Council Member Lipton. <br />City Attorney Light suggested a revision to the phrase Sec. 17.16.320 A 1. The <br />commercial and residential portions of the live -work use shall remain under single <br />ownership and shall not be subdivided, used as townhomes, multi - family dwellings or <br />condominiums or otherwise divided in ownership. <br />Motioner and seconder accepted the amendment. Roll call vote 7 -0. <br />2015 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT AND 2015 CONCRETE REPLACEMENT <br />PROJECT <br />Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br />Public Works Director Kowarstated staff recommends City Council award contracts for <br />the following projects: <br />• Via Appia resurfacing & related work; total project costs of $1,951,297. <br />• Main Street resurfacing and related work; total project costs of $359,029. <br />• Miscellaneous concrete work; total project costs of $67,337. <br />
