<br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 16, 2008 <br />Page 5 of 12 <br /> <br />Kathy Valentine asked if the fayade could be rebuilt or recreated in the new building. <br /> <br />Wilson noted that recreations are not considered true preservation. He noted that it became clear to the <br />DA T early on that saving the fayade wouldn't work if they wanted to meet the education <br />specifications. <br /> <br />Annie Hughes, 1405 Garfield Court, stated that she remembered that Adam Fels, LMS <br />principal, stated at the September 4 City Council meeting that the fayade would be <br />retained. <br /> <br />Koertje asked if the DA T minutes would show exactly when the decision to remove the <br />fayade was made. <br />
