Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by David Hsu. Meeting Minutes taken <br />by Jim Bradford <br />II. Roll CaII: (Members present in bold): Jim Bradford, Mary Ann Heaney, David Hsu, Claudia <br />Lenz, Mark Persichetti; Justine Vigil- Tapia; Jamie Bartlett; City -Staff Liaison Dave Szabados; City - <br />Council Liaison Jay Keany. <br />III. Approval of Current - Meeting's Agenda: Approved without modification. <br />IV. Approval of June 17, 2015 Meeting Minutes: The minutes from the June 17, 2015 meeting <br />were approved. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />Mark Persichetti mentioned that there is a pending MOU between all interested parties regarding <br />coordinated education and information about waste collection and diversion in Boulder County. <br />Parties to the MOU may include, but not be limited to, municipalities, non - governmental <br />organizations, special districts and so on. The MOU is to facilitate to cooperate and bring same <br />general graphics and message. At an upcoming County Board meeting they will discuss the MOU <br />and then send to the commissioners. Mark will bring to this board first, then to City. <br />Mark Persichetti also reports that he has been interfacing with concerned parties regarding <br />trash /recycling /compost separators for the Louisville Street Faire. <br />Garden update: Mary Ann indicated the whole city was invited to update meeting, which occurred and <br />was very positive. Troy Russ in planning is going to take over project for the city to lead various tasks <br />such as hiring a landscape architect, cutting in curbs, etc. Weekly phone calls are planned. Justine <br />mentioned that some funds should be used for some outreach, ribbon cutting and other and that she <br />has a person that may help. <br />VI. Jay's Minute: No report. <br />VII. Dave's Minute: <br />City survey needs some traffic for the Eco Cycle Survey and encourages people complete. <br />Competitive bid for solar power: Voltsolar.org is putting together a competitive bid. An RFP <br />committee will select 1 to 3 installers and Volt solar may want to team with City. We could discuss <br />at next meeting. Vote solar does workshops, etc. Charge 10 to 20 cents per watt.
