Call to Order —Co -chair Neal Griggsmiller called the meeting to order at 7:09 pm. II. Roll Call —Board members present: Neal Griggsmiller, English Hopkins, Mark Newland, Ellen Toon. Board members absent: Shelly Alm, Mike Frontczak, Beverlee White. Staff members present: Dean Johnson, Joe Stevens. City Council member present: Susan Loo. Guests: Brent Allred of Allred & Assoc. Architects; Troy Russ, Planning Director. III. The agenda was approved by all members, with a change in item order to accommodate schedules of Brent and Troy. IV. The minutes from the June 4, 2015 meeting were approved. V. Public Comment on Items not on the Agenda —No public present. VI. Arboretum Restroom Design —Brent Allred presented drawings of the restroom exterior and floorplan. Some design features: mining heritage reflected in shed roof, heavy timbers, rust colors and stone facade; many windows for ample daylight; for security, both entrances are visible from the same area; the sewer line will connect to the residential area south of the Arboretum; drinking fountains located outside the doors; additional equipment storage area will be located in the back of the building.
