RESOLUTION NO. 24 SERIES 2015 A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL REVIEW USE (SRU) TO ALLOW FOR AN AGRICULTURAL USE IN THE RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RL) ZONE DISTRICT IN ORDER TO DEVELOP A COMMUNITY GARDEN WITH 45 PLOTS AND TWO 80SF TOOL SHEDS, ON THE NORTHEAST AND NORTHWEST CORNERS OF GRIFFITH AND LINCOLN. WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Planning Commission an application for approval of a special review use (SRU) to allow for an agricultural use in the Residential Low Density (RL) Zone District in order to develop a community garden with 45 plots and two 80SF tool sheds, on the northeast and northwest corners of Griffith and Lincoln; and WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the information submitted and found it to comply with Louisville Municipal Code Chapter 17.40; and WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on August 13, 2015, where evidence and testimony were entered into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report dated August 13, 2015, the Planning Commission finds the Community Gardens SRU, located on the northeast and northwest corners of Griffith and Lincoln, should be approved, with one condition: 1. A floodplain development permit is granted by the City's Board of Adjustment; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of a special review use (SRU) to allow for an agricultural use in the Residential Low Density (RL) Zone District in order to develop a community garden with 45 plots and two 80SF tool sheds, on the northeast and northwest corners of Griffith and Lincoln, with one condition: 1. A floodplain development permit is granted by the City's Board of Adjustment PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 2015.
