RESOLUTION NO. 24 <br />SERIES 2015 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL REVIEW USE <br />(SRU) TO ALLOW FOR AN AGRICULTURAL USE IN THE RESIDENTIAL LOW <br />DENSITY (RL) ZONE DISTRICT IN ORDER TO DEVELOP A COMMUNITY GARDEN <br />WITH 45 PLOTS AND TWO 80SF TOOL SHEDS, ON THE NORTHEAST AND <br />NORTHWEST CORNERS OF GRIFFITH AND LINCOLN. <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Planning Commission an <br />application for approval of a special review use (SRU) to allow for an agricultural use in <br />the Residential Low Density (RL) Zone District in order to develop a community garden <br />with 45 plots and two 80SF tool sheds, on the northeast and northwest corners of <br />Griffith and Lincoln; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the information submitted and found it to <br />comply with Louisville Municipal Code Chapter 17.40; and <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on August 13, 2015, where <br />evidence and testimony were entered into the record, including the findings in the <br />Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report dated August 13, 2015, the Planning <br />Commission finds the Community Gardens SRU, located on the northeast and <br />northwest corners of Griffith and Lincoln, should be approved, with one condition: <br />1. A floodplain development permit is granted by the City's Board of Adjustment; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of a special review use (SRU) to <br />allow for an agricultural use in the Residential Low Density (RL) Zone District in order to <br />develop a community garden with 45 plots and two 80SF tool sheds, on the northeast <br />and northwest corners of Griffith and Lincoln, with one condition: <br />1.
