She stated staff recommends <br />approval of the probable cause. <br />Liz Boz- Speigal, the applicants architect, spoke. She stated she believed the <br />overall structure appeared to be in good condition. She stated they would be <br />most interested in keeping the front facade —1/2 the structure. They would be <br />looking to adding a two story addition to the rear. She added they would also be <br />adding a second unit to the back. <br />Fahey asked if the bay window would be maintained. <br />Speigal stated it would. <br />Public Comment — none heard <br />Commission Comments <br />Koertje stated this structure has great structural integrity and social significance. <br />He is in favor of a probable cause. He made a motion to approve this request. <br />Haley seconded the motion. <br />Fahey stated she agrees with Koertje. <br />The motion approved 6 to 0. <br />Probable Cause Determination — 509 LaFarge <br />Trice presented the information from the staff report. She stated the house was <br />moved to Louisville from Superior, for the LeComte family, who lived in the house <br />until the 1960's. She stated the structure has architectural and social <br />significance. She believes there is probable cause. <br />Erik Weissenberger, applicant, stated they are excited to learn more about the <br />integrity of the structure. <br />Public Comment — none heard (audibly) <br />Questions from Commission <br />Stewart asked Trice what view was being shown in the 1948 Assessors photo. <br />He was curious if there was a change in roof plane <br />Trice stated it was a southeast view. She stated the line in the roof appears to be <br />from the shingles. <br />
