City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 18, 2015 <br />Page 17 of 18 <br />MOTION: Council member Leh moved to continue the public hearing on Resolution No. <br />58 and No. 59, Series 2015 to the September 1st City Council meeting, seconded by <br />Mayor Muckle. All were in favor. <br />Council member Keany requested a special meeting be called to conduct an executive <br />session prior to the September 1st meeting or an executive session be called before the <br />regular City Council meeting on September 1st. City Attorney Light wanted to ensure <br />special counsel would be available for a special meeting. Special Counsel Malcolm <br />Murray stated he would be unavailable until September 1st. <br />City Attorney Light recommended a motion to approve a special meeting on September <br />1st at 6:00 p.m. for an executive session for the purpose of consulting with attomeys <br />representing the City. <br />Council memberStolzmann asked the City Attorney and Special Counsel to <br />contemplate any pending litigation before the next meeting and advise the Council. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Dalton moved the City Council call a special meeting on <br />September 1st, 2015, at 6:00 p.m..for an executive session, to consult with attorneys <br />representing the City, seconded by Mayor Muckle, All were in favor. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No items to report. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS, COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND IDENTIFICATION OF <br />FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS <br />Council member Loo was not clear on the Coyote Run report and asked what the next <br />steps would be. Council member Stolzmann suggested this be discussed at a future <br />study session. City Manager Fleming requested the City Attorney outline the next <br />steps. City Attorney Light explained he is examining the questions relative to the <br />various duties and risks the City has as the property owner of the open space. <br />Council memberStolzmann addressed an email from Mark Persichetti, from RCAB, on <br />recycling and what role the City would take. She requested this be a.future agenda <br />item. Deputy City Manager Balser asked if this could be discussed at a study session <br />with the Sustainability Board. Council member Stolzmann stated Mr. Persichetti asked <br />for direction, so it would have to be at a regular meeting. City Manager Fleming stated <br />it has been scheduled for the February 23, 2016 City Council Study Session.. <br />
