Cityoj
Om Louisville
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
VI. The Powerpoint for Study Session as written by Mark Newland was reviewed along with
an accompanying dialogue which Mark would present. The presentation was not to be
confrontational, but informational with photos to clearly show that there has been
insufficient manpower and maintenance in the medians, downtown landscaping, tree
trimming, etc. HFAB will call for a complete inventory of trees, beds, and grounds
managed by the city, to assess manpower required for proper maintenance. Also the
presentation will emphasize the need for early HFAB involvement in new projects. A
discussion of Pest Management ensued which included weeds and insect spraying.
VII. City Use of Neonicotinoids. Discussion touched on Get on BEE Safe, which will be moved
to the September meeting.
VIII. Meeting adjourned at 8:48 pm.
PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT • 749 MAIN STREET • LOUISVILLE, CO 80027
(303) 335 -4735 • FAX (303) 335 -4738
www.Iouisvilleco.gov
PARKS RECREATION SENIOR SERVICES OPEN SPACE FORESTRY TRAILS GOLF
