Approval of August 12, 2015 minutes: Approved Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda None Reports of Commission Commissioner Gorsevski would like the LRC to assist the effort to continue Street Faire where it would be appropriate for the Commission to do so. Business Matters of Commission a. DELO Update DELO Flats — Mayor Muckle stepped out of meeting room as the item is a quasi - judicial matter. Rick Brew of RMCS reported to the LRC that DELO Flats has preliminary approval. Zoning was discussed. Elevation of the property was discussed. Water committee meets prior to Council meeting tonight regarding Liv/Work water taps. Project will bring in more TIF revenue. The additional revenue will help cover bond payments and other obligations. Construction costs are up so performing value engineering. Brew asked for update on underpass. City Manager Fleming said the City is still waiting on BNSF. b. Historic Preservation Planner Lauren Trice provided an overview of the Historic Preservation Master Plan. Print out of plan handed out. Trice reviewed the 14 core community values developed. A connection to the City's Heritage — preservation is a strong benefit. Trice reviewed preservation benefits. Purpose is to look at Louisville over the next 20 years and how preservation will play a role. Trice reviewed goals and presentation in the packet, including showing how the Historic Preservation Plan and Urban Renewal Area overlapped. Steve Fisher thanked Trice for her hard work on the project and asked questions about Accessory Dwelling Units.
