Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />September 15, 2015 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />Under Business Matters of the Commission — Rick Brew did not provide an <br />update on Coal Creek Station <br />Items for next meeting June 8, should read: Items for next meeting: August 10 <br />With those changes, the June 8, 2015 minutes were approved. <br />Approval of August 12, 2015 minutes: <br />Approved <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br />None <br />Reports of Commission <br />Commissioner Gorsevski would like the LRC to assist the effort to continue <br />Street Faire where it would be appropriate for the Commission to do so. <br />Business Matters of Commission <br />a. DELO Update <br />DELO Flats — Mayor Muckle stepped out of meeting room as the item is a <br />quasi - judicial matter. Rick Brew of RMCS reported to the LRC that DELO <br />Flats has preliminary approval. Zoning was discussed. <br />Elevation of the property was discussed. Water committee meets prior to <br />Council meeting tonight regarding Liv/Work water taps. Project will bring <br />in more TIF revenue. The additional revenue will help cover bond <br />payments and other obligations. Construction costs are up so performing <br />value engineering. Brew asked for update on underpass. City Manager <br />Fleming said the City is still waiting on BNSF. <br />b. Historic Preservation <br />Planner Lauren Trice provided an overview of the Historic Preservation <br />Master Plan. Print out of plan handed out. Trice reviewed the 14 core <br />community values developed. A connection to the City's Heritage — <br />preservation is a strong benefit. Trice reviewed preservation benefits. <br />Purpose is to look at Louisville over the next 20 years and how <br />preservation will play a role. Trice reviewed goals and presentation in the <br />packet, including showing how the Historic Preservation Plan and Urban <br />Renewal Area overlapped. <br />Steve Fisher thanked Trice for her hard work on the project and asked <br />questions about Accessory Dwelling Units. <br />
