The Mine LLC
585 Dillon Road
Louisville, CO 80027
August 28th, 2015
Joe Stevens
City of Louisville, Colorado
Department of Parks and Recreation
Dear Joe,
We would like to let the City of Louisville know that we are exercising our
option of terminating the concession agreement at the Coal Creek Golf
Course. It is our opinion that, even in the best of circumstances with both
a pro shop and a concession giving their full effort, it is difficult to have the
cooperation and communication needed for the concession to reach its full
potential, for no other reason than it is difficult to meld a private and a
public entity into what needs to work as one business.
We are fortunate that David Baril has many years of concession
experience as well as his extensive knowledge of golf courses. It is our
hope that we can make a seamless transition that can go undetected by
the golf course community.
We can guarantee our full and dedicated commitment through September
27th. Our plan is to do our current menu through September 13th and then
move to a more limited winter concession menu on September 14th. I will
personally be committed to working through the transfer of the liquor
license, however long that may take, so that we do not leave the course
without the beverage cart and bar operations.
We have really enjoyed working on the golf course. There is no doubt that
in a short time this golf course will be one of Colorado's best! We regret
that we will miss being here for this. We will work with the city to reconcile
all outstanding issues prior to September 27th
Sarah Jarman
, 1
Isaac G nzalez
9
