MARCH 9, 1993 <br /> <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br /> SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in special session <br />in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. <br />Mayor Davidson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and the <br />following persons were present. <br /> <br />Council Members: <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Margaret Hornbostel, Rob Lathrop, <br />Chuck Sisk, Tom Mayer, Larry Hedding <br /> <br />Annette Brand, City Administrator <br />Tom Phare, Dir. Public Works <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney <br />Maj-Lis Kemper, City Clerk <br /> <br />Councilman Kevin Howard <br />Wm. Hesson, City Treasurer <br /> <br />Davidson called for any changes to the Agenda. <br /> <br />Davidson added as Agenda Item B, Quick Update on Lastoka <br />Negotiations. <br /> <br />Davidson called for any other changes. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council approve the Agenda, as amended. <br />Seconded by Mayer. All in favor. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION ON PARTICIPATION IN NORTHERN COLORADO WATER <br />CONSERVANCY DISTRICT SOUTHERN PIPELINE PROJECT AND PURCHASE OF <br />WAg~ER <br /> <br />Ton Phare, Public Works Director, stated that they are trying to <br />verify that the capacity levels that are being proposed in the <br />Northern District Pipeline to supply raw water is appropriate. <br />Phare reviewed the chart, Future Water Demand (SEE ATTACHED), <br />stating that he excerpted from the Treated Water Master Plan <br />planning areas and their associated demand and land uses to <br />correlate to a total future demand. He stated that this is not a <br />total reconciliation between current developed land and vacant <br />land, which will be developed with associated demands. It was <br />basically taking those areas that are clearly vacant and will have <br />future demands and summarizing those to see the capacity in the <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
