EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE ACQUISITION OF LAND IN AND AROUND THE CITY
OF LOUISVILLE FOR OPEN SPACE BUFFER ZONES, TRAILS, WILDLIFE
HABITATS, WETLANDS PRESERVATION AND FUTURE PARKS, SUCH
REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED AND SPENT WITHOUT LIMITATION OR
CONDITION UNDER ARTICLE X, SECTION 20 OF THE COLORADO
CONSTITUTION?

Davidson called for further Council discussion.

NONE

Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote with the Deputy
City Clerk voting in favor and Hornbostel being absent.

STREET CLOSURES

Linda Salas, Deputy City Clerk, stated that two requests had come
into City Hall for 4th of July street closures, both are cul-de-
sacs. She stated that both requests had been presented to the
Public Works Department and to the Public Safety Department.
Neither department had any problems with the closures. She
explained that, concerning the closure on Harper Lake Court in
Summerhill, there was some question in regard to the tent that was
being placed in the neighborhood. They will be placing it on one
of the yards, but it will come out onto the sidewalk, so they've
decided to ask for a street closure for the cul-de-sac. The time
frame will be 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on the Harper Lake Court
request. On the Coventry Lane cul-de-sac request in Coal Creek,
they're requesting a closure due to the fact that there are many
small children and that everyone will be out on the 4th of July, so
for safety they're applying for a street closure.

Howard moved that Council approve the two street closures.
Seconded by Sisk. All in favor.

ADJOURNMENT

Sisk moved that Council adjourned.
favor.

Davidson seconded.

Ail in

T~m Davidson, Mayor

ATTEST:

l~in -~Salas, Deputy City Clerk
