JULY 13, 1993 THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING The City Council of the City of Louisville met in special session in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Davidson called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. and the following persons were present. City Council: Margaret Hornbostel, Kevin Howard, Rob Lathrop, Chuck Sisk (5:45 p.m.), Tom Mayer, Larry Hedding Staff Present: Annette Brand, City Administrator Also Present: Scott Ross, Acting City Attorney Maj-Lis Kemper, City Clerk APPROVAL OF AGENDA Davidson called for any changes to the Agenda. NONE Davidson moved that Council approve the Agenda. Seconded by Mayer. All in favor. REGULAR BUSINESS Annette Brand, City Administrator, requested that Council go into Executive Session for the purpose of consulting with and considering the property appraisals on the Allenbaugh and Colacci properties for the specific purpose of acquisition and only for the purpose of receiving and considering appraisal information and any value estimates that are a part of that information and to consider any strategy related to the acquisition of these properties. She explained that joining Council in Executive Session would be Mr. Gerald Anderson, Appraiser of both properties, Tim Goddard, who is the Attorney Council has designated in the event that condemnation become a factor, and Scott Ross, acting City Attorney. Maj-Lis Kemper, City Clerk, read the required public statement (SEE ATTACHED). Davidson moved that Council go into Executive Session for the specified topics, as described by the City Administrator, including persons identified by the City Administrator. Seconded by Mayer. All in favor. Davidson stated that this Executive Session was for the purpose of receiving information and negotiations to purchase the Allenbaugh and Colacci property. 1
