City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />11/23/15 <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />NON - PROFIT FUNDING REQUESTS FOR 2016 <br />Finance Director Watson presented a summary of the organizations requesting <br />grants /contributions for 2016. <br />The Committee unanimously recommended the disbursement of the funds as <br />follows: <br />Association for Community Living in Boulder County $1,000 <br />Bounder County CareConnect $1,000 <br />Boulder County Legal Services $ 600 <br />Clinica Family Health Services $5,000 <br />Coal Creek Meals on Wheels $3,000 <br />Community Food Share $2,500 <br />Dental Aid $2,000 <br />Imagine Foundation — Developmental Disabilities Center $1,000 <br />Impact on Education $1,750 <br />Intercambio Uniting Communities $ 500 <br />Louisville Community Food Bank $ 800 <br />Louisville Senior Advisory Board $4,250 <br />Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence $1,500 <br />Saint Benedict Health & Healing — Free Medical Clinics $ 400 <br />Sister Carmen Community Center $2,700 <br />TRU Community Care $1,500 <br />Voices for Children CASA $ 500 <br />$30,000 <br />Councilmember Stolzmann requested staff continue to provide a schedule of all <br />City grants and contributions, regardless of funding source, to the Finance <br />Committee in advance of their review of the Non - Profit Grant program as well as <br />to the full City Council during each year's budget process. <br />The Finance Director will include the above approved contributions as a consent <br />agenda item for the next full meeting of City Council, December 14, 2015. <br />The non - profit funding requests and corresponding narrative can be located in <br />the packet of the November 23, 2015 Finance Committee Meeting. <br />FINANCIAL POLICIES <br />The Finance Director, Kevin Watson, presented an amended draft of the <br />proposed Financial Policies to the Finance Committee.
