ORDINANCE NO. 1122, SERIES 1993 - ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY - BEATON - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 9/22/93 Ross read by title only Ordinance No 1122, Series 1993, · "An ordinance annexing to the City of Louisville, Colorado, the property located south of Walnut Street extended approximately 150 feet west of McKinley Avenue." Kevin Leach, Wonderland Hill Development Company, stated that they and Janet Prouty own the Wigget property. Leach explained that there is some character in the old part of town that ought to be brought into this transition zone. Neighbors had commented to them that they didn't want to see larger, more expensive houses, which there would be, if Council went with few lots. He explained that there could be a bikeway through to the property to the north and to Adams Circle. Sisk: Leach: Without the Beaton property, where do you gain access to your property? We would have to acquire extension of Walnut Street. an Ross: The legal description on this ordinance appears to be incorrect. That would need to be corrected corresponding to what's set forth on the annexation map, which I do not have a copy of. The legal description on the map is the .66 acres, Mr. Beaton? Beaton: Yes, it is. Ross: The east 198 ft. of the SE 1/4, of the NE 1/4, of the NE 1/4, of the SW 1/4 of Section 8, Township 1 South, Range 69 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, except the South 185 ft. thereof, County of Boulder, State of Colorado. Beaton: That's correct. Ross: Then, we would need for the description in Section 1 of the Ordinance to correspond to that legal description.
